Composition of Medical Tyvek® Lidding Material: DuPont medical‑grade Tyvek paper plus medical‑grade coating adhesive.
Available Tyvek raw material grades: 2FS, 1059B, 1073B. DuPont Tyvek® lidding material is ideal for thermoformed trays. It guarantees sterility and integrity of high‑end, heavy‑duty and/or fragile medical devices before opening. Tyvek features eight‑times higher strength than medical‑grade paper of equal or heavier basis weight. It delivers excellent puncture resistance, hard to be pierced by sharp or irregular edges of surgical instruments.
Compatible sterilization methods: Ethylene Oxide (EtO) and Gamma radiation sterilization. Contact us for various blister tray materials matched with lidding films.
High strength, superior microbial barrier property and long service life with excellent resistance to microbial penetration. Clean paper‑free peel after sterilization. Sealing strength: 3.5‑7 N/15 mm. Good tensile strength and air permeability (35‑80 sec).
We supply various shapes of medical‑grade hot‑melt coated Tyvek® lidding materials, including Tyvek® 2FS, Tyvek® 1059B and Tyvek® 1073B.
